Reasons for the Creation of Bid'ah In Islam

Ash-Shaykh Ahmad Saad Hamdan (رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ) Said:

All the Bid'ah in the religion of Islam were foreign and there are five reasons for Bi'dah to occur:

1. Trangression

2. Infiltration of Foreign Ideologies (into the Pure methodology of Salaf)

3. Defining the Shariah with one's own Intellect

4. The evil impact from translating the books of Philosophers

5. Refuting a Bid'ah with a similar Bid'ah or with a more worse Bid'ah
